The Greeley Creative District is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to support the administrative and financial operations of our organization. The Operations Manager will handle routine bookkeeping and administrative tasks while gradually taking on more responsibility for documenting and improving our internal systems and processes.

The past few years have brought significant changes for our nonprofit organization. If you’ve been tuned in to the local news, you know that Greeley is undergoing major changes. And if you’re like me, you’ve been trying to figure out how your interests fit into the bigger picture of a growing Greeley. The conclusion I’ve come to? If you want to invest in the long-term health of our city, invest in the arts.

The purpose of Artober is to focus on equitable access to the arts, to encourage participation in the arts, to invite governments and businesses to show their support of the arts and to raise awareness about the positive impact of the arts in our communities.

Since these goals are at the core of the Greeley Creative District’s mission, we want to celebrate Artober this year by sharing our story.

In the final session of our 2025 creative networking series, Creative Director and Founder of Goodlight Creative, Erica McCary illuminated ways to craft and curate a clear and impactful brand message for anyone seeking to reach new audiences or grow their organization.

In a symbolic groundbreaking, past and present Greeley Creative District (GCD) board members, founding donors and community partners gathered in the historic Macy-Allnutt building to celebrate its forthcoming transformation into a local creative center.

On the heels of our last session about breaking through mental blocks, presenter Lori Gamma shared some ideas and a few methods to kickstart creative thinking using AI.

A self proclaimed early adopter of new technology, Lori was eager to help reluctant folks learn more about the powerful tools that AI has to offer.

“We are in the AI frontier,” Lori asserts.

Becca Vaclavik comes to the Greeley Creative District as an arts and culture enthusiast with nearly two decades of experience in digital marketing, storytelling and team leadership.

In this Cacophony of Creatives Networking Session, the conversation focused on how to identify and break through mental blocks. Inevitably, all creatives encounter obstacles. Learning how to move through struggles is the key that helps creatives persist and stay committed to their goals and crafts.

The Greeley Creative District (GCD) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created in 2013 to promote the community’s distinctive identity and leadership in the arts, and to increase the economic vitality of the creative business industry sector in Greeley. The successful candidate will be an accomplished and future-focused executive with a proven record of leadership, commitment to creative engagement, and will demonstrate a collaborative and progressive approach to the operation of the organization.

The Greeley Creative District is excited to announce it has established an Endowment Fund at the Weld Community Foundation AND has been awarded a matching "Challenge Grant" of $10,000 by the Foundation!

This means there is a permanently endowed Greeley Creative District Agency Fund at the Foundation that will strengthen the resources of the The Greeley Creative District and its work for years to come.

The concept of “community” can be intimidating—it is a broad term and it can be hard to know where to start. Fortunately, our talented panelists had some great advice about how to make and nurture meaningful connections that can help sustain and inspire creativity.
