  • Contact the Weld Community Foundation and note your interest in making a contribution to the Greeley Creative District Fund at the Foundation.

    Contact the Weld Community Foundation:

  • Your bank, insurance carrier, or similar institution can provide you with a Beneficiary Designation form or online process to leave a gift to the Greeley Creative District Fund using the following information:

    You can also name the GCD Fund as a beneficiary of your:

    • Savings or Checking Account

    You can also reduce your taxes with a direct transfer of required draws from your IRA directly to this fund.

    *All gifts are governed by related agreements.


  • Sample language by using a percentage:

    “I give, devise and bequeath to the Weld Community Foundation or its successor organization (EIN 84-1315296) ____ % of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wheresoever situated designated for the Greeley Creative District Fund at the Foundation and governed by all related agreements.”

    Sample language naming a fixed amount:

    “I give, devise and bequeath to the Weld Community Foundation or its successor organization (EIN 84-1315296), the sum of $ ____ (or describe the specific stock or security you intend to leave to the GCD) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wheresoever situated designated for the Greeley Creative District Fund at the Foundation and governed by all related agreements.”

    Sample language in survivorship:

    If my spouse/partners survive me, I leave my entire estate to my spouse. If my spouse does not survive me, I give, devise and bequeath to the Weld Community Foundation or its successor organization (EIN 84-1315296) ____ % of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property designated for the Greeley Creative District Fund at the Foundation and governed by all related agreements.”
